The Buffalo Bills announced on Apr. 25 their completed picks for the 2026 National Football League Draft.
The draft is an important event for teams as they seek to strengthen their rosters with new talent from college football programs across the country. The Bills made several trades and selected players at a variety of positions, including offensive line, defense, and special teams.
In the seventh round, after trading with the Chicago Bears to acquire two additional picks, Buffalo selected Texas A&M guard Ar’maj Reed-Adams at pick number 241. Reed-Adams was named a Second-Team Associated Press All-American. Dane Brugler of The Athletic said: “Reed-Adams has NFL-ready size and is at his best using his run strength on down blocks, but his balance issues could be a limiting factor at the next level. He will have a chance to earn a reserve role in the NFL.” With pick number 239 in that same round, they chose punter Tommy Doman Jr. from Florida. Lance Zierlein of NFL said: “Doman has good size and quality hang time on his punts, but he doesn’t definitively check boxes with his power or touch to bury opponents deep in their own territory.” Cornerback Toriano Pride Jr., who played at Missouri and recorded five interceptions during his college career, was taken earlier in Round 7; Brugler said: “Pride has the speed and ball skills for the next level, but he can be mismatched against bigger, stronger pass catchers and needs to develop better consistency to earn a spot on a 53-man roster.”
Earlier rounds saw Buffalo focus on both offense and defense. In Round 5 they picked defensive tackle Zane Durant from Penn State—who was twice named Honorable Mention All-Big Ten—and safety Jalon Kilgore from South Carolina; Brugler described Kilgore as: “an impressive height-weight-speed athlete” who consistently made plays from nickel position.
On Day Two of selections (Round 2), Buffalo traded up with Denver Broncos to select Ohio State cornerback Davison Igbinosun with pick number 62 after acquiring this selection by sending away third- and sixth-round picks. Igbinosun started all games during three seasons at Ohio State and finished tied for eleventh place in school history for pass break-ups.
The team also added linebacker Kaleb Elarms-Orr (TCU), wide receiver Skyler Bell (UConn), offensive lineman Jude Bowry (Boston College), and outside linebacker TJ Parker (Clemson) through various trades involving other franchises such as Las Vegas Raiders.
Looking ahead, these additions aim to bolster depth across key positions as training camp approaches.
