Bills head coach Sean McDermott announced that defensive end A.J. Epenesa, who is recovering from a concussion, and linebacker Shaq Thompson, who has a hamstring injury, will not play in Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins.

McDermott provided updates on several other players’ statuses ahead of the Week 10 matchup. Defensive end Joey Bosa (wrist), running back James Cook (ankle), cornerback Taron Johnson (groin), and defensive tackle DaQuan Jones (calf) did not practice on Wednesday but returned in a limited capacity for Thursday’s session.

Cornerback Christian Benford, who was limited in practice on Wednesday due to a groin injury, did not participate on Thursday. Wide receiver Joshua Palmer, sidelined for two games with knee and ankle injuries, was limited during both Wednesday and Thursday practices.

According to McDermott: “Jones, Palmer, Johnson and Benford will be limited for Friday’s practice and questionable for Sunday’s game in Miami.”
