The Buffalo Bills have made several roster changes ahead of their Week 8 game against the Carolina Panthers. The team has activated rookie cornerback Maxwell Hairston from Injured Reserve. Hairston, who was the Bills’ first pick in the 2025 NFL Draft at number 30 overall, has not played this season due to a knee injury suffered during training camp. He was placed on IR on August 26 and his practice window opened earlier this week. It is expected that he will be active for Sunday’s game.

In addition to Hairston’s activation, the Bills have elevated safety Jordan Poyer and defensive tackle Jordan Phillips from the practice squad for Week 8. Poyer has appeared in one game this season, while Phillips has played in two.

The matchup between Buffalo and Carolina is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. Sunday at Bank of America Stadium.
