The Buffalo Bills announced on Mar. 12 that cornerback Dee Alford has signed a three-year contract with the team.
Alford joins the Bills after spending his entire four-year National Football League career with the Atlanta Falcons, where he played in 64 games and started in 23 between 2022 and 2025. His addition is expected to strengthen Buffalo’s defensive lineup.
During his time with Atlanta, Alford was used in multiple roles, playing both in the slot and on the outside. Over the last two seasons, he made 18 starts and recorded 150 tackles, three interceptions, 24 passes defensed, and three sacks. In the 2025 season alone, he achieved career highs with 13 passes defensed, three interceptions, six tackles for loss, and two sacks.
Since entering the league as an undrafted free agent in 2022, Alford has accumulated a total of 216 tackles, 37 passes defensed, four interceptions, ten tackles for loss, and three-and-a-half sacks. Before joining the NFL, he played college football at Tusculum from 2016 to 2019 and spent time in the Canadian Football League with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers from 2020 to 2021.
The signing comes as part of Buffalo’s efforts to bolster its defense ahead of the upcoming season.
