Buffalo Bills running back James Cook returned to practice on Tuesday. The 2024 Pro Bowler was seen in full pads during the team’s session at One Bills Drive.

Cook had missed practice since August 3 and did not play in Saturday’s preseason opener against the Giants, though he participated in pregame warmups with the team.

Before Tuesday’s practice, head coach Sean McDermott commented on Cook’s status. “We’ve had conversations with James — good conversations, as I’ve mentioned before,” McDermott said. “And the information that we’re getting is that he is moving in the direction of practicing today.”
