Benjamin Bill’s Daemen Wildcats defeat Saint Michael’s in NCAA Division II basketball tournament opener

Former Hamburg High School standout Benjamin Bill helped lead the Daemen Wildcats to an 85-62 victory over the Saint Michael’s Purple Knights in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament on Sunday, March 15.

The contest was held at Charles L. & Gloria B. Lumsden Gymnasium at 7:30 p.m. and marked the Wildcats’ first meeting with Saint Michael’s in the tournament.

Up next for Daemen, the Wildcats will return to the Charles L. & Gloria B. Lumsden Gymnasium for a second-round matchup on Tuesday, March 17 at 7 p.m.
